About us
Chytrá Sovička is a private Czech-English kindergarten with accreditation from the Ministry of Education, based in Prague 4 - Háje,
for children aged 2–6.
We are located in a newly renovated building of a beautiful villa with its own garden, built in an old residential area in the Prague Háje district.
Our approach
Chytrá Sovička is a private Czech-English kindergarten in Prague 4 – Háje, for children aged 2–6. We offer a calm, safe and stimulating environment where children can develop naturally, with an emphasis on their needs, individuality, pace and psychological well-being.
At Chytrá Sovička we have 2 classes, divided according to children's skills and age into
Ladybugs (2-4 years) and Frogs (4-6).
Attendance is possible either full-day or half-day.
We support children's independence, cooperation in groups, and healthy self-esteem. We provide children with a clear daily structure and a stable environment that makes them feel confident and secure. We prepare preschool children for an easy transition to primary school.
We create and support activities and teaching methods for preschoolers.
Each of our teachers has a professional education.
Our goal is to constantly develop and support a high-quality and active team of teachers.
We want to lay the foundations for lifelong learning for our children.
Our values
Czech-English environment
English is a natural part of our daily program. Children encounter it through play, everyday activities, songs, and guided sessions. They learn the language naturally, without stress or formal lessons, in a way that is appropriate for their age.
A Place Where Children Feel Happy
Our preschool is located in a quiet area of Prague 4 – Háje. We have bright indoor spaces and our own garden, where children spend a significant part of their day. Outdoor time, physical activity, and contact with nature are an important part of our program.
Cooperation with Parents
We place great emphasis on cooperation with parents, regular and open communication, and the gradual adaptation of each child to the preschool environment. The adaptation process is carried out step by step, taking into account the needs of both the child and the parents.
Relationship-Based and Respectful Approach
The foundation of our work is a respectful approach to children and the building of strong relationships. Our teachers guide children with kindness, consistency, and calmness. Children learn to manage their emotions, express their needs, and be an active part of the group.
