Practical info

We enroll children throughout the year. We offer flexible attendance options — full-day, half-day, or just selected days of the week. The specific schedule is arranged individually to suit each family’s needs. Contact us and come visit to see our preschool in person.

Children are divided into two classes based on age and abilities. The Ladybugs class is for children aged 2 to 4, while the Frogs class is for children aged 4 to 6. Each class has its own room. On the first floor, we have a workshop where we create various crafts and draw pictures with the children.

Each child’s adaptation takes place gradually and individually. We respect each child’s pace and work closely with parents to make the transition to preschool as natural and stress-free as possible. We recommend a gradual start, especially for younger children.

Our garden is equipped with play elements, a spacious garden house, slides, play benches, a large sandbox, and other mobile features. The garden equipment meets all child safety requirements. Every year, we carry out an inspection of the play equipment. Chytrá Sovička kindergarten meets all hygiene requirements.

We welcome children from 2 to 6 years old. Our program is adapted to the age and needs of each child, making it suitable for both younger children and preschoolers.

Our preschool, Chytrá Sovička, is a private school registered with the Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic. This accreditation ensures that the preschool operates in facilities meeting strict hygiene standards, offers a well-structured educational program, and provides a qualified teaching staff.

English is a natural part of the daily program. Children encounter it during play, everyday activities, songs, and guided sessions. English is not taught in the form of traditional lessons, but is naturally integrated into daily activities so that children absorb the language without stress and through play.

Every Monday morning, we take the children swimming at the nearby Jedenáctka pool. The children learn to swim under the professional supervision of instructors and naturally become familiar with the water environment, develop their motor skills, and gain confidence in the water. Swimming takes place as part of an organized program and is adapted to the children’s age.

Děti přijímáme v průběhu celého roku. Jsme tu pro Vás celých 12 měsíců. Neúčtujeme žádný registrační poplatek.

The program includes a varied selection of clubs and activities that complement the regular daily schedule. We focus on movement, creativity, music, language, and social skills so that children gain new experiences in a playful and natural way. The selection of clubs and activities may change during the school year depending on the children’s interests, the season, and current opportunities, always with an emphasis on safety, well-being, and the healthy development of the child.

Zajišťujeme vyváženou stravu od firmy Ekolandia. K přípravě pokrmů používají kvalitní potraviny, které ochucují přírodními produkty, mořskou solí a bylinkami. Vaří a pečou z primárních surovin bez polotovarů, náhražek, chemické zátěže, rafinovaného cukru a geneticky modifikovaných surovin. Trpělivým přístupem se snažíme vytvořit u dětí správné stravovací návyky. Děti mají po celý den na výběr ze dvou druhů nápojů, a to neslazený čaj a vodu. Děti cíleně vedeme ke správným hygienickým návykům a k péči o čistotu chrupu.

We are a trusted family kindergarten in Prague 4 with a long-standing tradition. Our experience and the stable setting of our villa are a guarantee of quality and care that parents in Háje have trusted for almost 20 years. For 14 years, we operated in a family villa on Dunovského Street. In 2021, we moved to a larger building, a beautiful villa in the quiet Pacajevova Street in Prague 11 – Háje.
